Cisco has announced a significant step in its mission to secure AI-driven enterprises with the planned acquisition of Robust Intelligence company, an AI security solutions vendor and member of the Cisco Investments portfolio. Robust Intelligence’s purpose-built platform offers robust protection for AI models throughout their lifecycle, from development to production.

Through advanced automation and risk mitigation, Robust Intelligence empowers organizations to securely deploy AI applications while adhering to industry and regulatory standards. The combination of Cisco and Robust Intelligence means that the former will be able to deliver advanced AI security processing seamlessly into the existing data flows, by inserting it into Cisco security and networking products.

This will provide Cisco with unparalleled visibility into all of customers' AI traffic, enabling customers to build, deploy, and secure AI applications with confidence.
